Production Plants
Ferçim, which produces clinker, cement and ready mix concrete, continues its production activities with 2 integrated cement factories, 2 cement grinding plants and 6 ready mix concrete plants.
Niğde Integrated Cement Plant
Established in 1957, the factory started production activities in 1964 with the completion of the production line with a capacity of 85,000 tons/year. On September 2, 1976, the second production line with a dry system was commissioned, increasing the total annual production capacity to 350,000 tons/year.
In the following years, in line with the principle of quality continuity adopted in its business processes, the factory completely stopped the wet system clinker line, which had completed its economic and technological life, and continued its production activities with a dry system rotary kiln.
After the privatization period of the plant, investments made in the rotary kiln unit such as upper cyclone replacement, retaliation modernization and electrofilter replacement increased the kiln capacity from 850 tons/day to 1,350 tons/day.
In 2017, with the completion of the capacity increase project, the plant replaced all the main equipment used for the production of semi-finished products with the addition of a new 5-stage preheater, calciner and tertiary and increased the furnace capacity from 1,350 tons/day nominal capacity to 2,500 tons/day nominal capacity.
With these changes, the factory not only increased its capacity, but also made significant contributions to the national economy and the environment by enabling production with much lower energy and heat consumption.
Product Types
Niğde Integrated Cement Factory produces 5 types of cement suitable for the needs of the construction industry.
CEM I 42,5 R - Portland Cement
Portland cement is a cement with high early strength and ultimate strength in accordance with TS EN-197-1 standard obtained by grinding Portland cement clinker, setting regulator gypsum and up to 5% mineral component.

CEM I 42,5 R-SR 5 - Sulfate Resistant Portland Cement
Sulfate Resistant Portland Cement (SRPC) is specifically designed for structures that may be exposed to sulfate attacks. This type of cement is particularly suitable for use in structures that are particularly exposed to sulfate attack, such as marine and harbor structures, bridges, dams and water channels, where structures are likely to be exposed to environmental conditions.

CEM II A-L 42,5 R - Portland Calcareous Cement
Portland calcareous cement is obtained by grinding Portland cement clinker, setting regulator gypsum and limestone in the ratio defined in TS EN 197-1 standard. Portland calcareous type cement, which has high early and final strength, has a lower hydration temperature compared to classical Portland cement and is a cement that prevents micro cracks that may occur due to hydration in concrete, increases the chemical resistance of concrete and increases the workability of concrete with mineral additives.

CEM II A-M (P-L) 42,5 R - Portland Composite Cement
CEM II A-M (P-L) 42.5 R Portland composite cement is obtained by grinding Portland cement clinker together with setting regulator gypsum and pozzonlan and limestone in the ratio defined in TS EN 197-1 standard. CEM II/A-M (P-L) 42.5R type cement with high early and final strength has a lower hydration temperature compared to classical Portland cement and is a cement that prevents micro cracks that may occur due to hydration in concrete, increases the chemical resistance of concrete and increases the workability of concrete with its mineral additives.

CEM IV/B (P) 32,5 R - Pozzolanic Cement
Pozzolanic cement is obtained by grinding Portland cement clinker together with setting regulator gypsum and pozzolan in the ratio defined in TS EN 197-1 standard. This cement is suitable for use in structures likely to be exposed to environmental conditions. CEM IV/B (P) 32.5R type cement has a low hydration temperature and prevents micro cracks that may occur in concrete due to hydration.
